BOIS-ELOI

This family villa is nestled in the heart of a wood near Brussels. In the family for several decades, it needed to be adapted to the contemporary lifestyle of its inhabitants. The ground floor, although spacious, offered a limited relation to the garden. The living spaces needed to be update. Upstairs, the complex circulation was detrimental to a good functional space.

The creation of an extension to the South West has enabled a new distribution of living spaces (kitchen, dining room, lounges) articulated around a technical block. These spaces are oriented towards the garden, the swimming pool, and the wood. Office and study spaces are fitted out in the east in the existing part.

A double height is created in the heart of the house to enlighten the new living room of the villa.

Upstairs, the extension is offered to the master suite and all the existing spaces are redeveloped to offer qualitative spaces to each of its occupants.
